Is the natural progreesion to an HD? Not necessarliy,
I downgraded from old HDs when I bought the baby
bike. However, when I do decide to get rid of the
Savage (probably to my stepson when he is in college),
I will go back to them. The Savage has ben a nice
change of pace, but...

PS: If anyone seriously wants to get an HD, you
might want to go from the Savage to a middle
weight cruiser before you bite the financial
bullet. My last HD, a Dyna Wide Glide, ate 4 motors
and 6 trannies in 6 months. Try an 1100 Shadow
or large Intruder first, as it is still possible
to get ripped off by the Motor Company. Build your
big bike confidence up on ones that tend to be
rock solid reliable.
